A public service announcement.

The makers of this video believe that it’s okay to wear a costume that won’t cause a lady to catch a cold due to overexposure. I’m so glad that I’m not the only person who feels that it really is not necessary to put the “ho” in Halloween. 🙂 Enjoy.

Happy H word

Isn’t this cute? It’s from an English company called Chargrilled, but I’m sure an American version of it exists.  Be safe and don’t eat too much candy!

Happy Harvest Festival?

It’s that time of the year again. Little A has a Harvest Festival Party and Max has a Pumpkin Party on Friday. I have no idea why Halloween is such a bad word to the schools these days. Out in the real world, the costumes and candy and parties are called Halloween costumes, candy and parties. If the use of the name is so repugnant, why celebrate it? *shrugs* I know I asked this question before, but it is just puzzling why it is celebrated on the last school day before the H word, with all of the same elements, but the word can’t be used.
