It’s that time of the year again. Little A has a Harvest Festival Party and Max has a Pumpkin Party on Friday. I have no idea why Halloween is such a bad word to the schools these days. Out in the real world, the costumes and candy and parties are called Halloween costumes, candy and parties. If the use of the name is so repugnant, why celebrate it? *shrugs* I know I asked this question before, but it is just puzzling why it is celebrated on the last school day before the H word, with all of the same elements, but the word can’t be used.
Because we live in an age where everyone is offended by something and no one wants to get sued or fired!
I sure wish people got sued and fired for not doing their jobs instead of simply uttering the word halloween.
