  • The next time you vote, remember your photo ID. The Supreme Court has upheld the voter identification law in Indiana, which allows polling places to demand picture identification.
  • I didn’t appreciate reading about the Sean Bell decision. How a police force justifies shooting an unarmed man 50 times is beyond me. But that’s how NYPD rolls. Nothing new there. Still sucks though.
  • I need parents to raise their children. There was a news story about how to discuss what is going on with Miley Cyrus with kids. She took some photos that were a bit risque. End of story. A bad choice maybe, but hardly the national emergency some people are acting like it is. What should be a national emergency is the fact that some parents just blindly embrace anything with the Disney name as a good babysitter for their kids. That’s just how I see it though.

    I keep wondering who is leaving the house without identification. I mean, I’m figuring most people who are registered to vote carry their wallets and purses with them when they leave the house.

    But maybe that’s just me…

    I’ve thought about that a few times too. Like, who isn’t carrying their ID around anyway, but I guess somebody is not.
