In 2014 I have found myself saying, “Why not?” to a lot of things I would have automatically ruled out because I honestly did not think that I could do them. Sometimes I felt that they conflicted with my schedule. One thing I have discovered is that when I said yes to the right things, my life expanded and there was so much in those experiences that I needed to learn and see and do. At every turn there was a validation that not only did I make the right choice, but that I was supposed to be there. In that place that I would not have dared to even think about, much less venture to, two or three years ago. Turning 40 has really taught me that while walking by faith is terrifying, bravely moving forward is incredibly rewarding.
