Have you ever heard something that just made your mouth drop to the floor, anime style? Well, for the past couple of days I’ve been checking in on the story of Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice. I think somebody tweeted the link to me and there was this youtube (I think) video where the camera man asked a man who was panhandling to say something, and the man opened his mouth and OH MY GOODNESS!!! He had one of those announcer voices. You know, the kind that lure you to mediocre movies and stuff.
So far, he’s been offered a job with the Cleveland Cavaliers and appeared on the Today Show this morning. He spoke humbly of his life before homelessness, his descent into drugs and crime and his children.
When the hosts of the show asked if he had anything he wanted people to know about homelessness, he said “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
WOW!!!!!
Yes, It’s something.
I saw his story yesterday morning and was amazed. I’m happy he’s getting a second chance.
This is a great story.
I thought so too, and Diva, I’m glad he’s getting a second chance too.
