I had a really nice, quiet New Year’s Eve at home. Al was determined to stay up until midnight, but at exactly midnight, he went to bed. LOLOL. Several of our neighbors did the big fireworks thing (maybe I’ll write a post about the elaborate displays they do every year). At one point, I heard the wails of a fire engine. I think things quieted down substantially after that. I’m looking forward to getting refocused on those things I was working toward before the holidays.
