a bus of his own

Max’s school started a week after all of the other kids, so he has been running after the other kids’ buses. One day he was so frustrated and sad, he was like “I go too!!!… Me too!”  I felt so bad for him because he had almost given up hope. Today was his big day and he was so happy and excited and cheesing ear to ear. He dragged me out to his bus stop (in front of the house – he IS in preschool) and we waited a few minutes out there. He even buckled himself in without being prompted. He was ready to go.  I’m so glad for him.
