Remember that freaky weather I posted about a while ago? Well, it has wreaked havoc on my backyard garden. By now, I was supposed to be enjoying tomatoes, lettuce, herbs and maybe even some peas. But we have had so much cold and rain that when I go outside with anticipation of seeing growth or new sprouts, the soil just looks back as if to say, “What do you expect? Has it BEEN 60 degrees in two days?” So I’ll be starting over again this weekend, hoping for some mid to late Summer goodies grown in the back yard.
