When my kids are older, because they will want one too, and they MUST take care of THEIR dog. I’m thinking a poodle or a bichon frise for me and a lab or golden retriever for them. I guess I have this to look at for now 🙂

I hear you … my kids have been bugging me for years to get a dog and I refuse because I know they will not take care of it.
