The end of the power of the SAT and ACT?

A growing number of schools are placing more weight on high school grades and College Board individual subject tests than the SAT and the ACT. I had no idea that students were placing their eggs in one basket, spending lots of time attempting to “game” exams as opposed to taking a strong cirriculum, though. I think it’s a healthy step in the right direction to move toward subject testing and grades and away from the SAT and ACT in terms of the weight on college applicants.
