One of my favorite parts of autumn is pumpkin pie. Maybe it’s because when I was growing up, the only time I could have it was when we had it served at school. My mother hated pumpkin pie, so she didn’t make it. Now I eat it and pumpkin flavored ice cream, in moderation, when fall hits. I’ve even had pumpkin soup. LOL. That was one of our earliest agree to disagree moments. Pumpkin pie. Which was followed by friends, clothes, college and men. I was a pretty obedient child, but if Mom said turn left and I was curious or saw something of value in turning right, well, I turned right. Maybe that’s why my kids are the same way with me. Maybe one of them will decide they don’t like pumpkin pie, and this will all start again in about 25 years or so. LOL.
