Standardized testing and other rumblings

Yippee, right? Gotta love no child left behind. Al is doing standardized testing this week, so we’ve been getting ready and stuff. Lil A took photos at school Monday. It’s blue week. I think I’ll send blueberries, blueberry juice or something (hubby says it’s looking bleak – he needs to hush). During their color weeks, they wear a color, sing a nursery rhyme and have snacks in that color. I try to make sure she has at least socks or hair accessories but something in the color of the week every day. I think the last color week was green. Now THAT was a challenge. She likes wearing her color of the week and she is really enthusiastic about school and reading and stuff, so I don’t mind running down stuff every now and then.
