Little A has come a long way. She rides her trike and has allowed Max to play with her old car every now and then. She no longer parks her riding toys at the bottom of the stairs. She helps to clean up and tries to keep her playtime as neat as possible. Most days.
Sometimes, though, she swipes books and toys from the big kids, will push any brother around who gets in her way, be it Max, Nat or even Al. Cries of “Mine! Mine! Mine!” signal the beginning of Diva Chaos. Then a nap is taken or a snack is eaten. Or a time out is given. And butterflies come back out. And life is beautiful.
For the record, the latest toddler “phrase that pays” is “Help me out, please.” followed by two blinks of the big brown eyes.
