Family politics.

It seems like my entire family is completely hyped up by the presidential race. Last week, we had our caucus, and hubby had some Obama campaign stickers. Al wanted one because he likes Obama too. I wasnt even aware that he followed the campaign very closely, but Al IS a pretty well read 11, soon to be 12 year old. My husband was coaching the Obama campaign worker at the caucus on talking points about Obama. They invited him to go to the national convention. *Sniff* They grow up so fast.
Of course, my mom has been doing her own campaigning. I love mom’s campaign style. It’s basically calling up relatives and asking them, “You’re voting for Obama, right?” LOLOL. My poor sister-in-law. She told my mom she wasnt. THEN she tried to persuade my mama that her candidate was better. Which would have been a futile battle even if she was the sharpest tack in the box (cause those of us who know better would not even engage my mother in a political debate – tee hee). Bless her heart.
It is really good to see people talking about the political process and wanting to know more. I hope that regardless of the outcome of this race, people continue to want to know how politics work in their counties/parishes, cities and states, too.
