Take Charge Girl

Every day, at preschool, the kids get to help with circle time activities. A student is chosen to hand out and pick up rhythm sticks, choose which songs the class sings, etc. The students are usually chosen as they raise hands or say, “My turn.” It’s done so that all of the kids get to do activities on a fair basis.
Well, today, Little A decided that she needed more chances to help and the wait until you’re chosen method was not working for her. She proceeded to get up every time it was anybody’s turn to help with stuff. Time to hand out rhythm sticks, she was up there. Time to choose a song, she was up there. Sing goodbye to the classmates, she was up there. LOL. After a couple of rounds of explanations that the other kids needed turns, I think she got the point. I hope they make sure that she gets her turn regularly, because I’ve witnessed what can happen when she decides to take matters into her own hands, and they definitely don’t want any of that.
