Today I get to be a nurse for a day. My six year old, Nat, was sick when he got up this morning. We went ahead and took Al to school, since he had a field trip and didn’t have any issues. Unfortunately, he started throwing up at school. Maybe he lied so he wouldn’t miss the field trip. Well, he missed the field trip. Al is tough to be a nurse for. He doesn’t want to go to bed. He wants to run around when the whole reason he is at home is that he is SICK. Oh well. I hope that what they have doesn’t make the rounds to me. Bleah. Sick for the holidays is not cute.

Time for a new stylist?
I have been a Janet fan since she was on Different Strokes, okay? I remember her first album. Not control, but Janet Jackson, okay? Back when she had two names, okay? LOLOL Nobody was happier than me to see her do her thing on the Today Show (I don’t even watch the Today Show, but I did that day) sans the weight she put on for that movie role. But could somebody tell me what is going on here? I don’t think it is one of the worst looks of the year, but she is wrong for that outfit. I REALLY HOPE she didn’t pay somebody to put it together. Friends do NOT let friends leave the house looking like that.

    I like the look only on the top. I think she needs to come to terms with 40 and hang up the ripped jeans and ugly shoes. She can also start tucking the cha chas away now too. We’ve all seen more than enough of them.

    I like most of the elements of the outfit (the ripped jeans for my young cousin, maybe) just not together, and I HAVE seen enough of the breasteses too… lol

    I would actually restyle it to give her a cute little halter, tube top or tight tank top under the blazer. bring the jeans up so they are clam digger length and rock some flyyyy pointy toe boots!

    Janet looks terrible! There is nothing worse than a woman that is aging beautiful trying her hardest to dress like she is 20 ( and not getting it right) because I don’t even think a 20 year old would wear that outfit.

    Janet needs to accept the fact that she’s almost 40, for real. She looks crazy. I liked the top of the outfit, thought. I hope that Nat and Al are feeling better.
