I finally got around to joining my health club. I ended up joining the one closest to where I live, because as much as I like a rock wall, I like my bed even more. Right now I’m doing a bit of treadmill work to get my body in shape. Then I’ll be adding more weights, cardio and all that good stuff. It’s a pretty large gym. I can’t complain.
I was really glad to read this. Autism can be devastating for a family. In some parts of the country it can take waitlists of months to get the early intervention. If early intervention is not available or possible, families have to foot the bill for speech, nutritional and occupational therapy. I’m glad that these families did not give up and that someone other than lobbyists can get laws passed in Washington these days.
