Happy Thanksgiving everybody! The cornbread dressing has been made and the kiddies are all off to sleep (except for Al who actually thinks he might have a chance at some of the goodies if he stays up. I’ll give him fifteen minutes, tops). Once I get the fruit salad done, it will all be ready to heat up and serve tomorrow, I mean this, afternoon. My daughter fought like a trooper to stay awake. Bless her heart. She saw all of those burners going and the oven too, and knew there was going to be something good to eat, but her activities for the day caught up with her and now she is out.
The weather has been rainy and cold and rainy and rainy (did I mention rainy? good, cause it’s rainy. that can’t be overstated. If I didn’t know better, I’d be looking into an ark right about now. lol) I hope everyone has a safe and great holiday and doesn’t camp out at any of these break of dawn sales.
