One of my favorite snacks is vanilla wafers. I don’t know what it is about em, but they are really addictive. During times of stress, I keep them in the pantry. When I had my son, I had a box in my hospital bag. Hey, hospital food can be tricky, so I didn’t take chances. My husband made fun of me, then he commenced to eating a good number of them while he stayed with me.
But back to the wafers. I was snacking on a box yesterday evening, whcn my six year old came out of nowhere. He stood patiently by until I offered him some. Then he wanted more. Then he tried to take the handful I was munching on. He tried to eat one for every one I got until they were all gone. Then he grumbled because there were no more. He’s a picky eater, so I was surprised he had such a fondness for the wafers. When my mom visits, I have to get extra for her (which may be where I get my taste for em). Now I have to get extra for him. Will my vanilla wafers EVER be safe?
