This morning I was in my garage at around 5:55 am getting rid of boxes. They just had to go. Now, I had to clean up things so the minivan could fit in the garage, so today was garbage day and I had to get a whole lot of junk out. I like cleaning out the garage and closets and all of that great stuff, but putting stuff on the curb/taking it off to the salvation army… that’s just a whole new level.
Dad’s visit
My dad is in town this week. He is doing some training for his company, so I get to see him during the evenings and stuff like that. I can’t believe that I’m not worried about what he thinks about the house/the yard/or whatever. I think I’m too sleep deprived to care. It’s like, I cleaned it, and I hope you’re comfortable. On Saturday, my mom will be going back home. She has been such a great help to all of us on so many levels. It is something how everything worked out so she could stay a few more weeks with us. I am still scheming to get back down South (make that certain parts of the South, tee hee), but I’ll settle for seeing my family for Christmas and the family reunion in 08, Lord willing.
Random Relatives Moment
Have you ever had relatives (or relatives in law – tee hee…) that you just wanted to grab and and yell, “What the HELL is wrong with you!!!???” at? Maybe it’s just me. I had two moments when I could have just pimp slapped a couple of people I am related to blood (and by marriage) , but I’m just going to pray and count and be thankful for the blessing of distance. Can you smack or shake someone by phone yet? LOL.

Well yeah, getting rid of it is always good. Hee hee.
I’m glad to have had my visit with the folks. They aren’t the folk who were working my nerves at all. I’m glad to be in a different time zone and/or country from the guilty parties 🙂
