there are no words.

Today my dad told me about one of his coworkers. The coworker took his seven year old to school on Monday morning for the first day and was supposed to take his two year old to day care. He realized, after a 102 degree day, that he had never made it to day care with the two year old. He was still in the car. He rushed the kid to the hospital, but of course it was too late.

Some people want to embrace the family and pray for them. Some people want accountability for such obvious negligence. I’ve heard of cases where parents have just forgotten the kids in the car on 100 plus degree days. It is not impossible the way that people run on autopilot in this day and age. What a thing to live with, causing the death of one’s own child. The whole situation pretty much left me speechless.

I don’t understand situations like that. I get awfully busy, but i’d never leave my child in a car.

I haven’t been that busy either, Brotha Buck. He went an entire eight hour shift before he realized what had happened. Wow.
