The baby seems to have really taken a shine to baby dolls, so I have been out looking for her first baby doll of her own. The only problem thus far has been that in the toy department of my favorite discount store, Tarjay, I can only find blonde haired and blue eyed dolls. I really had my heart set on a brown skinned (or at least light to medium tanned) babydoll with dark hair and eyes, so my search continues for a doll who more closely resembles the baby in terms of the basic physical traits.
The Return of the 80s
I’ve been out shopping for the kids for fall time and back to school time and one thing I’ve recognized is that the 80s are coming back in a fierce and major way. This is hecky hecky ironic because the leggings and a couple of other looks that were big in the 80s were, well, revamps of the 50s. I think I’m going to have to try to keep it as classic as possible since the bod is not where it was back then. I’m working on it, mind you, but I have to be honest about the bod when dealing with things like leggings. Black does not make it alright. Hee hee hee…
