Baby back ribs.

Boy! I had a great fourth. We fired off some fireworks. Man! They like to charge for that extra firepower. Once we started lighting up the fireworks, the wind started blowing toward my house and since I didn’t want to be on the news for catching fire, we brought that to a close real quick. Some of the neighbors set up a patio fireplace on the cul de sac and chilled, or rather warmed. It was the chilliest Independence Day I can remember, but it was a lot of fun. I am so thankful to have my mom helping out. I hope I can help my kids like this when they are grown and have kids and stuff. It has really made things a lot better and it has only been a couple of days.
Man, I got some baby back ribs from this joint where they just fall off the bone from looking at em. I tried to find some Tony Roma’s, but all of the ones in my area (shoot, and beyond) have just packed up and gone. It was really odd to celebrate a fourth without my hubby, but the ribs were alright. The only thing was that I had to run the flosser immediately afterward cause no matter how tender the meat is, it always gets stuck in my teeth. I guess that’s why they are a special occasion food these days.
Hope you all had a good holiday.
