This week I finished the paperwork for Al’s schedule next year, but I just took a serious look at my copy of the school calendar. School is going to be out in a week. This school year seems to have passed by very quickly. I’m not sure what kind of camp stuff we’re going to be doing, but everything worked out really nicely for Spring Break with his Day Camp. Here’s to more of the same of that. Today was my last parent teacher conference of the year, too. You can never have too many of those. I know that they are necessary and everything, but I was never all too keen on em. Maybe it’s the idea that I feel like I’m being evaluated and not just the kid in question. Who knows.
I love the baby and all, but she has got to stop this whole running me down with a book thing. I can be sitting on the sofa, chilling out and all of a sudden “READ! READ!” in a little elfin voice or something. I enjoy reading with her, but lately, she is just a little literacy piglet. She wants books to be read again and again and sometimes again. “READ to the bebe!” Can I get a please with that? Something?
I gotta go now. She’s pulling my finger.

Don’t complain…she may get to school and not want to read. 🙂 So cute but I understand your pain.

p.s. did you realize you are coming up on your bloggiversary?

If my neice/twin wants you to read, then you read. That’s so precious that she can say that. Read to the baby.

Berry: I hope she still enjoys reading in school. It is hard to believe that it has almost been a year.
Melette: All I’m asking for is a “please” or something. No need to be a little dictator. lol
