Jr. high?

Yesterday, my sister and I were talking about the local jr. high school, and how fast kids are living these days. My son is only about to start fourth grade, but it just really bothered me that I am going to have to deal with all of that stuff. I’m not a cool parent now, so I guess my son will continue to be a non cell phone having, non video game system having, non ipod having individual. I can live with that, because it means he will be a college educated (and not in debt) individual.

I’m glad I’m not alone.

michelle ain’t telling nothing but the truth. it seems children don’t know how to imagine anymore because “stuff” does it all for them. send them outside to play. see if they can come up with a game…

Yeah. I have a hard enough time getting Al into books with his internet hobbies. Video games would have him messed up for real.
