Good Weather
When you consider the fact that ski season in these parts is expected to last well beyond Memorial Day, I think today was a beautiful day. We went out walking and stuff like we usually do when the sun is out. Maybe Spring is on its way. 🙂 I can dream.
Business Trips
My husband has not been on a business trip since he started his current job over two years ago. He is going to be going during the first part of May. Now, at his old job, he traveled a LOT. As a matter of fact for about two years of our marriage, he was pretty much on the other side of the country. It was really tough for us. The kids never really understood why their father had to go away and airport scenes, well they could be special. I hope I can get them to understand that he is just going for three days and not two weeks, like he was before. He has never been away before while the baby was here, so I have to get her to understand, too. She basically waits at the door when it’s time for him to come home, so it is going to be a little tough for her.
An open letter to American Journalists (I think they think they are journalists…LOL)
Okay, Tom Cruise and his wife have had that kid, can you guys move on now? Really. Can you all move on now? I’d greatly appreciate it. There are floods, wars, political coups and well, real news that you people can cover. There is even good news like diseases being cured and lives being saved. Plenty of events that are of REAL VALUE to most civilized folks… Hop to it.
