Yesterday, the weather was really beautiful, so I was outside most of the day. We went to the park for a little while. The baby never wants to leave. Everybody else is ready, but she has to scream like she has lost a friend or something. I have my flower
garden all planned out, so I’ll be getting my plants and stuff in place this weekend. We saw a really nice new neighborhood that had all of the things we were thinking about adding to our current home. Unfortunately, the schools were nowhere near the district my kids are in now, plus we’re a lot closer to the library, stores, the park, everything where we live now. So back to the drawing board.
My in-laws are coming to stay with us soon. The kids will be glad to see them. I think my husband will be glad to see them too. They like to spend time with the kids, and the kids like to spend time with them. It will be an interesting summer, indeed.
I read an article about spying on kids. It said that parents shouldn’t do it or that they should tell the kids first. What a load of crap. If my kid is communicating with someone on the internet who I think could pose a threat to him or her, then guess what? I’m going to use every computer eavesdropping tactic I know how to employ. Most parents are not going to be snooping in their kids stuff for the hell of it. Something is usually wrong. I don’t care if the kids think that the kid in whatever the current group is is hot, but if I see some weird stuff going on, I will investigate. I thought that was what parents were supposed to do.
