It’s Friday!!!

And the sun is shining again. It’s a bit chilly outside, though. I hope it warms up so that we can go out to the park again. I hope it stays warm so I can get things straight in my flowerbed. It’s getting a bit jungle-ish in there. I’m still not sure what colors I want in there this spring/summer, but if the weather allows, a sister will just run to home depot, find some flowers that can handle the dynamic weather that is the pacific northwest and just get to planting. The only thing about it is that the baby just wants to sit in my dirt, but we’ll work it out. My folks plant greens,okra, tomato, watermelon, all kinds of stuff in their garden. Maybe I’ll be a green thumb like that when I grow up. These days, I’m just maintaining my azaeleas and rhododendrons that I planted last year and marveling that they survived the cold snap that we had earlier this month.
Temper temper
Yesterday evening, I just had a huge temper tantrum. I had been dealing with my lovely children and I was hungry and tired and I let one or two little things set me off. It is something how at the age of 32, if I just would have handled it like I handle things with my one year old (feed, hug, and put to sleep) I could have come out way ahead. I guess that’s something to remember for next time.
