I remember when flavored water was called soda.

Or kool aid. or even Crystal lite. So now it’s called flavored water and made more expensive? I don’t get it.
Friday, I’ll submit my contest entries for the scrapbook competition. I’ll know if I placed on Saturday. I’ll definitely be scoping out the competition. If I don’t place this year, I will find out what places and tweak my stuff for next year.
Spring is here?
I can’t believe that Spring is less than a week away. I really hope we don’t get any more snow. I want to put on my skin conditioners and actually be able to show some off, you know? Can’t do that with snow on the ground.
The kids are starting to get cabin fever. Spring means that they can go to the park and tire themselves out and give a sister a break.
Mommy Wars
I was reading about this book about the hostility between women who work at home and those who work in the office. I have done both, so I don’t understand the big deal. I think it is really lame when either group of women feels the need to belittle the other to justify their own choices, though. I think also think that it is hard enough on women with kids, whether they work or not, given the lack of value our society puts on their rearing and education. Why add to it? Just my thinking. Then again, I don’t understand how people get paid a premium for calling stuff “flavored water”.

Some women never mentally advance further than the high school mentality. Flavored waters are a joke. I do like flavored seltzer because it is sugar-free.

That’s true. I forgot about the whole high school thing. So sad. I hope the flavored waters go away, though.

I feel you on the “hostility between women who work at home and those who work in the office”, raising kids is difficult enough and then having to justify why you chose to do what you do. Different strokes for different folks.

Nice post, I like your thought process, I’ll be back.

Glory I think I’ll have clear water and colorful juice. I know that technically water is flavorless, but I like the taste of water.
Sistagirl Thanks Sistagirl! See you soon.
