Well, what do you know? March is Women’s History Month! Since I didn’t get around to all of my profiles, I’ll probably do one or two per week of the best of the ones I had left over.
Tomorrow is the grand finale of Mardi Gras. I have really mixed feelings about that, but I think I’ll save em for tomorrow’s post. I have a few finishing touches for my scrapbook contest entries and I haven’t given up on my marathon mission, though the weather has been something else. I even started drinking *shudder* V8 to get more vegetables. Now the big questions are whether I’ll have the energy or the inclination to run the 26 miles or walk them and whether I will have the pep to run the other big city marathon two hours away from me. It will feature a kid’s marathon, so if I run that one, I’ll register Al, my oldest, for it.
I had a really nice Valentine’s Day. My husband gave me a beautiful bouquet of stargazer lillies and my wonderful See’s nuts and chews, which I shared since I am trying to cut back on that sort of thing. I may add more to this post as the day progresses depending on how my time works out.
I’m back, I think
