Now I try to abstain from commenting on politics because, well, Washington is a hot mess right now and there is plenty of blame to go around, but I just want to ask some questions just for the heck of it.
Okay, you see Ferris Hassan over here. This kid from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, who managed to OBTAIN A VISA TO IRAQ, purchase a plane ticket TO IRAQ, and a hotel room IN IRAQ all without our government having the slightest clue. Shoot, his parents ain’t even know.
Now, I am not even the one for conspiracy theories, but I entertain questions from time to time. Questions like, “Didn’t our president just flagrantly defend his new spying system (you know, the one that he set up even though he has a judge in his pocket in case he wants to set up a wiretap cause he and Dick “no heart and no soul” Cheney did not want to have to answer questions later – you know, in case somebody ends up at Gitmo or something) that is supposed to keep track of communications that anybody has with Iraq? How did a kid with a CLEARLY MUSLIM name get a plane ticket from Florida to Iraq without at least landing some scrutiny from our homeland security people who are now WORLD FAMOUS for their no fly lists? Are 16 yr olds just able to take a flight to Kuwait all willy nilly these days? How does an UNDERAGED AMERICAN get a visa to Iraq? Shoot, what if ol Ferris was one of them dudes tryin to get his jihad on? Would we be watching Bush press conferences for another week?” You know. Stuff like that.
I must commend our president, though. He gave away $6,000 that Jack Abramoff gave his campaign. However, he’s still a bit reluctant to give up them $100 g’s that Mr. Abramoff raised for him. I guess you can’t be too clean in Washington these days.
Not that the Dems are without fault here. I mean, they did give Mr. Pres a wartime blank check (even though most of em KNEW that Iraq ain’t have nothin to do with 9/11), and from what I heard, a few of them are handing out Abramoff money. I guess I made the right choice when I registered as an Independent.
