Today I had a seminar. On photoshop. I thought I was the bomb when I went. I could pretty much make anything I wanted to happen happen. I had it going on in photoshop world. Or so I thought. My mind got blown.
The teacher of the seminar was one of the co-authors of the ORIGINAL photoshop manual. You know that maple leaf brush and that grass brush in photoshop? He invented them. I spent the entire first half of the seminar with my mouth open like “Wha???” Fortunately, during the second half of the seminar, I started to recognize things I was good at, so I’m not the total dummy I thought I was at lunch. I have so much work to do before I can become as good as I want to be, or at least as good as I thought I was. Does that make sense?
My hubby helped with the kids while I was out. Let’s just say the place looked like a cyclone hit it. hard. on the inside. when I got back. I asked him if he had any new insight on what it takes to raise our kids and keep things going in the house for a day. He said no, but his eyes looked like our kids totally ROCKED HIS WORLD. He said he had it all under control, but he did not want to even discuss helping with the kids when I go do volunteer work with my oldest son’s teacher. Is he not telling me something??? LOL. I won’t press the issue. I know how fragile the male ego can be.
