Whew! I finally made it to the Post Office. I mailed off a package to my parents and some thank you cards that were long overdue and a package of books to help some people affected by the Hurricanes.
I am not a big fan of the post office. Not at all. Gee, could it be the long line that is ALWAYS there? Or maybe it is the long line that is always there. I am seriously thinking of shipping stuff from the house. Doing that whole point and click routine. I am going to find out how that works. I am a professional procrastinator when it comes to mailing stuff off (not taxes and that type of stuff – just care packages and stuff).
Then there is the increase of postage. When I was in high school, you could send a letter off for less than a quarter. What happened with that? I know that inflation and budget cuts and stuff happened with that, but I still wish I could send stuff off for a quarter.

That’s the beauty of email! Screw the post office!

Wow, was postage EVER that cheap? LOL! I guess it must have been because I remember actually sitting down to write letters to people – in LONG HAND! When’s the last time I did that? I even had like a million pen-pals back then. I guess the i-net is the grown up version of that. LOL!

Down with the Post Office (at least until they remember what customer service is)!!!
I can’t believe postage was that cheap either. Letters. I remember writing (and occasionally receiving them) too.
Come to think of it, I owe my grandma a letter. And some photos. Dang.

They are pretty good.
