The place where I live is notorious for cloudy days and rain. I am cool with that. I really like rain anyways. Just kickin back with some piano jazz rolling on and on in the background. Today, I am totally chilling out. I wonder if there is a thing called Fall Cleaning. Maybe I can put some stuff out. Cleaning is always good.
It would be a severely cold winter the year that fuel prices skyrocket. I guess we’ll be wearin a lot of flannel at the house. My son pointed out the pumpkins at the store a couple of days ago. There is a pumpkin farm near my house. I had never been to a pumpkin patch before my oldest son was in kindergarten. They have a maize maze for the big kids and a hay bale maze for the little guys. They always end up climbing all over it instead of finding their way out, but that’s cool.
The bad side of fall would have to be yard cleanup. We have little bushes and everybody and their mama’s leaves wind up in the yard. Maybe I’ll get a nice big maple or something in the Spring so that we can share the love. Hee hee. I like Fall. I REALLY like Winter. Just something about the COLD COLD air. Bring on the cold!!! I want to see my breath. LOL.
We actually had snow the past couple of years. Snow Balls! YAY! As you can tell, I was one of those kids that had to be brought in from the snow. My family went into the mountains and we watched a herd of deer feed behind our cabin. I like all of that cold weather nature stuff. I don’t dig chesnuts, though, so no chesnuts roasting over an open fire.
