I have read on different blogs that some people are highly negative about blogging. I have read news stories where people lost jobs because of blogging. This past week I read that one blogger thinks that most people blog in search of book deals or something. I had no earthly idea. I mean, I had friends who had blogs and I had considered blogging a while ago, so I gave it a go. I read theirs. They read mine. My sisters take a look from time to time, and of course my hubby reads it. I have corresponded with really interesting people through blogs, and my experience has been positive. My primary audience is me, so my posts may not float boats every day. That’s cool.

Maybe I’m missing something. Is it really that deep? *shrugs*

    To some I think everything is ‘that deep’. I understand what you’re saying though. It’s amazing how far people can take some things. I guess I fall into that category considering I moved to a new blog neighborhood due to workplace paranoia.

    I understand the workplace paranoia, but everybody being out to get book deals was a new one on me. Different strokes, I guess.

    I know now that people use their blogs for different reasons.
    I started blogging just to get some stuff off of my chest. In the process I have met some awesome lifetime friends.
    I have met an author thru blogging and she suggested that I write a book. Which I am doing, but to get a book deal…NO! To make my life more fulfilling…YES! Shoot! I want to self publish. 😉

    Also, I am a workplace blogger. I know that I should not blog at work. It should be against the rules. BUT…It is not in the policies YET, and I do my work first. Although if I got in trouble for it, could I really argue???

    yeah for some people it IS that deep. i am not one of them. though i am somewhat addicted. but that’s cause i like to run my mouth.
