Well, I finally found out what “really” happened with Oprah and Hermes. Not that I was holding my breath. I just assumed the worst and decided against the perfume, tea cups, saucers, scarves (and this bracelet) that I had been eyeing from their catalog.
The CEO of Hermes USA was on Oprah’s show to apologize. He said that the person working the Paris store didn’t know who Oprah was. So that means it’s okay for her to treat people like trash as long as they aren’t billionaires? Then the international office of Hermes had the utter nerve to start a smear campaign to cover their own butts. And all of this is okay, according to Oprah, because the USA CEO said he understood? Like I said before, they REALLY don’t want my common darkie money. Back to the same list as Adam’s Mark, Denney’s and just about any business in South Carolina.
No Thanks Hermes.

they don’t market to us anyway. they ain’t looking for our money to begin with. so when we pull some boycott mess with them, it’s not like they care anyway. it’s when the white liberals with money start getting indignant that companies put on their multicultural face…

I know that, but I still ain’t buyin it. Like they won’t spend our money, too…

I’m glad to finally get to bottom of it, as well. They can forget about her ever endorsing them.

Wow, I think if I was Oprah I would still be pissed. No one should be treated like that period.

I’mma need for him to run his statements by somebody before saying them out loud! If he had, they would have told him not to say “she didn’t know it was oprah.” So…….only black folks that white folks like to see on tv can shop here.
‘oh and after we found out it was oprah we made up a blasphemous story to make black people look bad too.’
