I am really getting my scrapbooking thing together *patting myself on the back*. I have put together a few of them over the years for my folks and in-laws, but I think I am really getting the ins and outs of making nice scrapbooks. Hopefully by Christmas, I’ll have my family’s scrapbook done, and possibly a baby book of my daughter’s first year. It’s going to be very very nice. I’m incorporating all kinds of neat stuff. All I need are my eyelets and it’s gonna be on!
Scrapbooking looks simple enough when you first start. You can get you some patterned paper, maybe a paper cutter, an exacto, a glue stick and you think you’re doing something. Man, I’ve got die cuts, stamps, instant layouts, letters, little faux finishing spongies, wooden scrapbook covers, wooden letters, leather scrapbook covers, 3-D objects…. You just get sucked in.

I saw somewhere that people get paid a lot of money to scrapbook as a business.

I’ve heard that too. Once I finish my holiday projects, I am going to seriously look into it. Nothing wrong with money.

HAVE FUN!!! I think it was last year or the year before last I went scrapbook crazy…spent all kinds of money on tools and supplies. Unfortunately, I am not as ambitious as you are. My stuff is sitting in a pile in the corner…still in the boxes.
