Confessions of an Internet Junkie…

It is way too easy to get sucked into the vortex that is the information superhighway, especially for someone like me whose thoughts can jump from one thing to another quickly if they are not kept in check. No, I don’t have ADD. I can focus when I need to, but sometimes, I can go from checking my mail and getting a nice message about a store where I shop. Then I go to the store’s site, then I track the stock price of the company the store belongs to and then I’m checking out market trends, political stuff, other news, the real estate section of that newspaper, a builder whose listed in the newspaper and so on and so forth. This is a day, mind you, when I haven’t read any blogs or message boards… Fortunately this kind of thing may happen once or twice a year. Otherwise, I’d never get out of my pajamas.
