Funny, yet so true

I heard this and had to share.

If you’re burning the candle at both ends, you’re not as bright as you think you are.

Have you ever tried to carry a candle that is burning at both ends?  🙂

Passing it on.

Yesterday I heard that when God blesses someone, it’s never all about them. That’s to say, that the reason to receive a blessing is to be a blessing. While I have goals for myself and my family this year, a major part of those goals is the freedom and power to sow more greatly into the lives of others.  Last year I did some things, but this year I really want to do more.

Following through.

Let this be the year you release your fears about what you can achieve. Know for sure what you want and be willing to give yourself what you need to get it.

Last night, I was reading a magazine when I came across this nugget. Several things popped into my mind. Chele’s war on fear, my goals for this year, maybe even some more thought into how I would navigate those goals. For those who don’t know, last year Chele took up the mantra of no fear. She got a tattoo and everything :). It was really inspiring. I’ve got some big goals this year and I have every intention of following through on them, but am I willing to give myself what I need?
