Today is such a sunny, gorgeous Saturday! I looked out of the window and thought that this would be an EXCELLENT day for rollerskating/blading/whatever is done with wheeled boots these days. Of course, I could not help but remember learning to rollerskate in the basement of my folks’ house after I got my first pair. I figured I’d get all of that embarrassing falling stuff out of the way BEFORE I went out in public. Every time I’ve gone skating since, I’ve been SOOO thankful for that basement, lol. Wherever you are, I hope you’re having a lovely weekend, too.

LOL! Did everyone learn how to skate in their parent’s basement? I learned on a pair of skates that were too small, rolling on that concrete basement floor. Good times.
