No accidents.

This morning it seemed like nothing went right. Little A forgot her lunch, which meant I had to drive across town to drop it off. Then I missed my exit to her school and by the time I got home it was too late to go for a run, which meant I had to grab a workout video, only thing was I couldn’t find my video. Everything worked out, though. I heard a message on the radio that really helped me think about some things in my life, my wrong turn put me down at the post office so I had the opportunity to mail off some things and since I had a little time on my hands, I checked to see how Al was doing in school and went down to have a brief chat with him at school. I got there just in time for them to call him down with the morning announcements. If I had gone for my walk, I would not have had any of those experiences. I also would not have had time to fix up a few things in my bathroom and get all of my makeup brushes clean. I didn’t get what I wanted done, but I did get a lot of good things done. I can live with that.

  1. When things don’t go as planned I think of all the people on 9/11 who are still here, because they overslept, missed their train, spilled coffee on their shirt and had to change, couldn’t find their keys, etc. What is meant to be, will be.
