Why do I ALWAYS have a cookie mom/grandma/troop leader in my social circle? So I can get my cookies FRESH out of the factory, that’s why! Smh. I have a SERIOUS limit in place on the cookies this season (it just takes too much work to get my fitness on to sabotage all of it – sorry cute girl scouts and brownies). I’ve decided to donate toward their fundraising in lieu of a box of cookies when I inevitably run into them while out and about. I heard about a boycott, but since I still don’t completely understand the situation (and I’ve read several versions of the story), I’ll disregard. I can’t penalize girls I know are working to fund their community projects and become better people because of a situation I can’t even understand in another state.
