When I was walking Nat to his bus, the bus driver informed me that all of the mothers were very happy and enthusiastic about all of the kids going back to school. I have definitely got to set some things up for the kids to do this Summer. We did a lot more than I expected this season, so the kids weren’t bored too much. After New Year’s was over, I found myself wanting to celebrate something else. I think that’s from growing up in Louisiana. We celebrate a LOT of stuff. Maybe I need some gumbo in my life. 🙂

You definitely need some gumbo in your life. I know I need some! During the breaks parents should realize how hard your kid’s teachers work. They are keeping your little ones busy and a host of others 7 hours a day 10 months out of the year. Tip well or buy a nice gift! They deserve it! 🙂 Happy New Year!
