Action is the foundational key to all success – Pablo Picasso
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. – James 2:17 (NKJV)
Every year, I choose a word that will help keep me motivated to live a better life. It is sort of like a really brief form of mission statement. It usually has some other words of inspiration attached so I can channel them when I’m in danger of heading in the wrong direction. This week, when my sister and I talked about New Year’s Resolutions, mine was simple. I wanted to finish the things that I start. At first I was going to use the word do, but the word action beckoned to me from the Picasso quote. Somehow, it appeared more powerful and deliberate than do. I can feel it having an impact already.
