Today’s big question, “Do you prefer talk or text?” reminds me of a few awkward situations (two where men posted a photo of the mothers of their children and very disparaging personal information, one where a couple basically had a flame war on social media – I have unfriended and unfollowed over much less) I’ve experienced via social networking and blog. My personal opinion is that some scenarios call for talking. Chat, texting and other forms of keyboard based social interaction are a good thing at other times (obviously, since you’re reading this as part of a blog or plinky).

I feel that intimate conversations are best held between two people in person when possible, via phone when not. I know that some couples have arguments on social media and solicit the input of their “friends” and “followers”, but some things are better left untyped and unread.
