Here I was, thinking that I was a sophisticated diner, but I don’t think I’m edgy enough for a salmon martini, and I heart salmon. Over in Wasilla, Alaska (yes, that same place that is the home of that famous chick who is famous for being from and running Alaska), the big new flavor is smoked salmon. About a year ago, they created a bacon flavored vodka in Seattle. I don’t think I was ready for a bacon-tini either. Maybe it’s my tendency to seek out the more feminine drinks, but I can do fruit drinks and even herbal tinged drinks. Meaty drinks are not appealing to me somehow. It sort of reminds me of that meat scented fragrance BK was pushing.
