What would Jesus do?

I’m a Christian, but do you know what one of my biggest pet peeves is? Petty and cruel behavior in the name of Christ, by – you guessed it – other Christians.

Jaretta Hamilton was a fourth grade teacher who was good at what she did over at Southland Christian School in St. Cloud, Florida, when she petitioned to take a maternity leave to have her child. She was married. Her boss asked her when her child was conceived. She told him the date (I wouldn’t have. I would have called my lawyer, though. ) Then he fired her. Then he had a meeting and told all of the teachers about the reason he fired her – that she had had sex before she was married to her fiancé. THEN he called the parents of all of her students and told them. I hope that school employs over fifty workers, because if they do, they are subject to discrimination laws.
