Just some of the things on my mind.

The latest and greatest.

My Mom is recuperating very well. She has had a spasm or two but nothing like what she experienced before she had her disk replaced. I’m thankful for that. Life is moving forward around here. I have a miniature tea rose in my flower bed that my husband planted a couple of years ago. I’ve been thinking about clearing the side of the house and planting a rose garden and having a few smaller roses in the flower bed too. I think I’ll keep one Azalea and one Rhododendron since I planted them to be in bloom the Spring after Little A was born. I’ve got my eye on a few fragrant varieties including this one (falling in love).

At this point, words just fail me when I read or see anything having to do with the situation on the Gulf (whether it is the fact that the state has not EVER been paid proper royalties for its oil, the craptastic equipment that BP had in place, or company’s safety record). If you haven’t seen the company’s response to the situation in the Gulf, here it is.
