Bring on the fruit bars! The time has come to make sure the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed for the school year. Little A will be going to kindergarten in the Fall (Can you believe that when I started this blog she was closing in on six months and Max wasn’t born at all?). Al will be in eighth grade, Nat will be in fifth grade and Max will be in preschool another year, running the playground and gymnasium without his sister. Everybody already knows him after his first year. Sigh. One more year, and he’ll be off to kindergarten, trailing behind his sister. Saturday Little A went to a birthday party for one of her school friends. She had fun. She didn’t want to come inside when it was time for games and cake, but she had fun.
My mother-in-law will be coming back for a few months at the beginning of June, which means I’ll be doing a bit of cleaning and painting and fun stuff like that. All of that work will be more than worth it because I get neat gifts from India AND I get to go out and act like a grown up with my husband. Woo hoo!
