Have you ever experienced one of those days that could only be described as a succession of unfortunate events? I think yesterday was mine. It was rainy. and cold. and Monday. I discovered that one of the people I had come to respect greatly had abruptly resigned in the midst of a scandal. By the time I got over that, my daughter had managed to make my favorite glass pitcher explode into what seemed like a million pieces. After I cleaned it up, I had, what I thought was a routine discussion with my radio show co-hosts, one of them decided she had not been happy with the show for a long time and quit on the spot. Yes. It was a full day. Thanks to my husband, who was a great shoulder to shake my head and “What the world?” on. And my Al, who came to me with show ideas, because he heard his mommy was upset. And my Nat, Max and Little A, who stayed out of the way until the glass was cleaned up. And most of all God, who provides a roof over our heads and enabled us to make our trip home and back unscathed. Now off to make lemonade and lemon pie and lemon soda and…
Well…

Having a support system is great way to get through days like that. Things can only get better, right?
